2018 Hyundai Veloster Spy Shots Hit The Web
The next-generation Hyundai Veloster is on the way, with some big changes in store.
The sporty 3-door Hyundai coupe has come a long way since its initial release in 2011, and there is a lot to be excited about with the upcoming version.
2018 Hyundai Veloster changes
The 2018 Hyundai Veloster was recently spied under heavy camouflage, but it’s clear that the 3-door style will remain, although the doors looks a little larger.
Up front, the new cascading grille is on display, much like the one seen on the i30 5-door hatchback.
Below the large Hyundai signature grille is a red line that runs the width of the car, while the headlights appear to be comprised of a pair of projectors, with turn signals flanking them.
It’s tough to tell for sure, but it also looks as though some major changes are coming at the rear of the funky Hyundai coupe.
The dual exhaust pipe stays in the same central position in back as the current model, but there is no longer a bezel surround in place.
Another thing that really jumps out is the new wider, taller taillight set-up, and we have to say it looks cool.
There is not much to report on the interior at the moment, as Hyundai did a bang up job of camouflaging the 2018 Veloster’s dashboard.
As far as the engines goes, we aren’t really sure what will appear in the new generation Hyundai Veloster 2018 MY, but it wouldn’t be a huge surprise to see a 1.4L and 1.6L Turbo engines.
The 7-speed DCT will also be available.

There’s no word out about the Veloster AWD, but chances for that are pretty slim. The cabrio version of the Veloster is more likely, however, Hyundai has yet to confirm it.
