Hyundai Veloster Alpine features engine modifications and performance exhaust system
Hyundai Veloster Alpine Concept coupe by Ark Performance getting ready for 2012 SEMA Show!
The Hyundai booth at the 2012 SEMA will probably be one of the most crowded ones, thanks to a handfull of heavily-customized Hyundai cars being put on display.
The South Korean largest carmaker has already released the very first images of the Cosworth-tuned Genesis Coupe and Veloster Velocity coupe, but there’s more, according to lates automotive industry news.
The carmaker will also unveil a Veloster “Alpine” concept car, built by Ark Performance, which incorporates aggressive exterior styling, a plethora of interior upgrades and several engine and suspension modifications.
Hyundai says the Veloster Alpine will appeal to winter sports enthusiasts who love to carve the snow as much as a twisty canyon road.
SEMA 2012: Veloster Alpine mods
Under its hood, the forth-coming Veloster Alpine features a 1,6L four-cylinder GDI engine with 232 horsepower and 240 lb.-ft. of torque. The vehicle also incorporates K&N Intake System, ARK Oil Cooler, Koyo Radiator and ARK Performance’s DTS exhaust system.
The exterior is covered with Pearl White body paint kit and incorporates sporty bumpers, side skirts, rear wing and fenders.
The cabin gets materials “chosen specifically for their durability in wet environments, including leather that repels mildew and a WeatherTek material commonly used in snow apparel.
According to Hyundai, the “uber” Veloster has also an upgraded suspension. Here’s the list of suspension enhancements: ARK Big Brake Kit, Air Motion Cup Suspension kit, Performance Strut Bar, silver alloy wheels and lug nuts supplied by Muteki.
