Updated list of Hyundai vehicles scheduled to hit the US dealers in 2017 and 2018.
The Hyundai line-up has been growing and becoming more refined since back in 2010, to the point where the brand has a vehicle in just about every segment other than pickup.
The current trend, though, is towards SUVs and crossover vehicles like the Santa Fe, Tucson and Kona.
Let’s have a look at the 2017 and 2018 Hyundai models that are about to hit the U.S. market in a couple of months.
Hyundai hybrid / EVs
Hyundai Sonata hybrid has been joined by a plug-in sibling model a couple of months ago. It has been selling quite well with monthly sales averaging at about 250+ units.
Hyundai’s compact hybrid car, the Ioniq, is already available at your local dealerships. The “Toyota Prius killer” will also be available as an all electric vehicle and a plug-in model.
The all-electric Ioniq EV is coming to the U.S. dealerships later this month, while Ioniq PHEV goes on sale in the USA at the end of 2017.
Hyundai SUV models
According to latest reports, there is a new Hyundai Kona coming to the US late this year.
Latest rumors also suggest that Hyundai may launch a pick-up truck sometime next year (to be officially confirmed).

Expect to see the Accent sub-compact car to be redesigned soon. Some sources state that we may see the new generation Accent go on sale in U.S. and Canada as early as in the second half of 2017.
Hyundai’s top-selling nameplate, the Elantra compact sedan, has received a new 200-horsepower 1,6L turbo engine for the 2017 model year. Called Elantra Sport, the vehicle is already available at your local Hyundai stores.

Another Genesis luxury car is set to make a debut this year. At the end of this year, we will see the 2018 Genesis G70 making its official US premiere. Expect it to debut at the L.A. auto show in November.
Looking ahead and beyond the 2017, here we have a couple of cool Hyundai models scheduled to make their official North American premieres.
It’s being reported that Hyundai is working on a Genesis coupe, but details on that particular model are scarce at this point.
