2015 Hyundai Tucson Spy Shots
The automotive spies have caught the next-generation Hyundai Tucson SUV testing in Germany.
The fully-redesigned compact SUV has been spied near the famous Nurburgring track, which Hyundai has been using to fine-tune the ride and handling of their upcoming cars.
Dressed in a heavy camouflage, the 2015 Tucson appears to have a sportier exterior layout with a sloping roofline and large signature grille on the front fascia.
The side profile and rear-end have also been modified to adopt a completely new look.
As evident from the latest Hyundai spy shots, the redesigned Tucson styling has been inspired by that of the new Santa Fe SUV.
The vehicle is expected to adopt a whole new compact crossover vehicle platform with improved all-wheel-drive system, while the engine range is expected to carry over with minor enhancements.
The engine range will include 3 diesel engines two petrol turbo engines. For the first time, the Tucson SUV will be offered with a 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission.
More details about the new model will be released closer to its official launch, which is expected to happen in Novemebr this year (at the Los ANgeles auto show).
This is the same event that hosted the premiere of the current generation Hyundai Tucson.
Editor’s note: With Peter Schreyer leading the carmaker’s styling division, we are pretty sure that Hyundai will further enhance the 2.0 Fluidic Sculpture styling and apply it to the 2015 Tucson SUV.
With that in mind we are confident to say that the model will become the hottest-looking model in the segment. [Photosource: inautonews.com]
