Exclusive Details On Hyundai’s Big Reveal Tomorrow
Hyundai Germany has released a teaser image of the 2016 Tucson CUV, which is expected to make its pre-Geneva debut tomorrow!!
Ahead of tomorrow’s official debut, the automaker released a teaser photo which provides a glimpse at the new Tucson’s front end styling.
The image revealsĀ a part of the front bumper design which features LED daytime running light strip below the fog light, and attractively styled chrome alloy-wheel of the vehicle.
The teaser shot confirms the new-generation Hyundai Tucson will get the same, but evolved Fluidic sculpture 2.0 design, which has already been applied to the new i20 hatchback and Sonata sedan.
As seen previously at the spy shots we have published here at the Hyundai-blog, the 2016 Tucson incorporates large hexagonal signature grille and a set of sweptback headlamps with LED inserts.
The side profile of the upcoming crossover vehicle gets more aggressive creases running across the length, while the alloy wheels are newly designed.
According to Peter Schreyer, President and Chief Design Officer of Hyundai Motor Company, the upcoming 2016 Tucson CUV is characterized by its “flowing surfaces, bold proportions, sharp lines and the signature hexagonal grille. It’s gonna be a big step forward for the Hyundai brand globally”!
The new model promises to adopt significantly improved powertrain technology including a turbocharged petrol and diesel engines matched to a 7-speed DCT (dual-clutch transmission).
Interestingly, for the new generation, Hyundai has announced it will ditch the ix35 name to revive the Tucson nameplate!
