2010 Hyundai Tucson LM rendering
The 2010 Hyundai Tucson -LM rendering. Could this be the final shape? Its exterior shape looks pretty close to the ix-onic concept we have seen debuting at Geneva Auto Show earlier this year.
The 2010 Hyundai Tucson will adopt Hyundais new “fluidic sculpture” design language and is expected to boast outstanding performance with the segment-leading safety features and fuel efficiency.
The new Tucson will deliver powerful performance through its 2-liter Theta II gasoline engine, which will be mated to company’s all-new six-speed automatic transmission. Manual six-speed gearbox will be available as well. In addition, Hyundai will offer more engine options in the new Tucson, including a 1.6L and 2.4L gasoline engines and 1.7L and 2.0L diesel engines.
To meet the most stringent automotive safety and crash requirements, the Tucson will be built with hot-stamped ultra high-strength steel and will feature complete safety equipment including six standard airbags, ABS, ESP and other safety technology.
You can expect to see the all-new Tucson makin its official premiere at the 2009 L.A. auto show, scheduled for this November. At the show, Hyundai s also expected to debut the 2011 Sonata sedan, which will go on sale early in 2010.
What do you think of this rendering that shows a 2010 Hyundai Tucson? Do you think the production model will look like this one?
