Poll 2: Hyundai Sonata 2,0L GDI Or Sonata Hybrid?
Asking you Hyundai fans, which car design do you prefer? The one applied to the brand-new 2016 Sonata hybrid electric car or that found on the gas-powered 2015 Sonata GDI?
Whether we choose to admit it or not, many of us rely on the views expressed by media and critics to help us make a decision.
We might even write off a new vehicle based solely on what is being said about it online and in magazines.
In our mind, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, which is why we are leaving it up to you guys to decide which looks better: the 2015 Hyundai Sonata, or the 2016 hybrid version of the vehicle.
Let’s take a look at what is being said:
Gas-powered 2015 Sonata
The 2015 Sonata is better than the outgoing model in a number of different ways, yet there are still those that are not too impressed with the new exterior design.
Too many people have been caught up in the style issue, seemingly unaware that underneath the more conservative look of the new Sedona are a host of features and additions that make it incredible value for money.
It is certainly fair to say that this is a more restrained design than what we are used to, with some critics going as far as calling the new look totally bland. The feeling is that it’s the design that is hurting the initial sales.
2016 Sonata Hybrid
There are a number of style differences between the 2016 Hyundai Sonata hybrid car and the afore-mentioned gas model.
The differences are not just there so that the two vehicles can be told apart, they are also there to help with things like aerodynamics and fuel efficiency.
The biggest differences can be found at the front of the vehicle, with the hexagonal grille more pronounced, and the headlight layout different from that of the gas model.
There are also lighting changes in the rear, as well as streamlined wheel options that help with airflow resistance.
Take a look at them both Hyundai Sonata sedans and let us know what you think. Which of the two styles do you prefer?
