The new Sonata continues to offer a range of highly-advanced four-cylinder engines that have been revised for the 2015 model year!
The base model in the Sonata range is the 2,4L Theta II GDI 4-cylinder engine which generates 185 horsepower and 178 lb. ft. of torque.
2,4L GDI Engine is available on the following models:
- Sonata SE
- Sonata Limited
- Sonata Sport
2,0L Turbo Engine
The very well known 2,0L turbocharged engine has also been upgraded to offer lower-RPM drivability.
A revised 2.0-liter Theta II engine produces 245 horsepower and 260 lb. ft. of torque and is available on the 2015 Sonata 2,0T Sport models.
