The UK-specs 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe CUV sales to commence in October!
Hyundai Motor UK revealed the official 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe release date and pricing for the base model of its stylish 7-seat crossover vehicle.
The UK-specs 2013 Santa Fe is scheduled to hit the UK Hyundai dealerships on October 15. with a starting price of £25,495.
According to Hyundai, the new Santa Fe will be offered in three different trim levels (Style, Premium and Premium SE) and with a choice of either 5- or7-seat configurations.
In keeping with Hyundai’s philosophy of providing vehicles with maximum value for money, the all-new 2013 Santa Fe comes standard with a number of features that are traditionally cost options with rivals.
Standard features on all Santa Fe models include 18-inch alloy wheels, reverse parking sensors, daytime running lights, self-levelling suspension (available in a 7-seat model only), air conditioning, Bluetooth with voice recognition, multi-function steering wheel and Hyundai’s adjustable Flex Steer system.
The Premium trim adds a touch-screen satellite navigation, reverse parking camera with Parking Guidance System, heated front seats, roof rails, chrome effect door handles and black leather seat trim and others.
Premium SE is the top of the range trim and brings a hosts a plethora of safety and luxury features including 19-inch alloy wheels, panoramic sunroof, Xenon headlights, Smart Parking Assist, keyless entry with engine start/stop button, front parking sensors, Supervision Cluster with LCD display and many others.
2,2L CRDI diesel engine
The highly-advanced 2,2L CRDI diesel engine is the only engine option in the new Santa Fe.
The 4-cylinder diesel unit generates 197 horsepower and can be mated either to the 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission.
Hyundai engineers have tweaked the engine significantly to ensure vast improvements in the vehicle’s fuel economy along with associated reductions in CO2 emissions.
The all-new Hyundai Santa Fe (2WD, manual gearbox) is rated at 47.9mpg on the combined cycle (155 grams of CO2 per km), while the 4WD (with manual gearbox) Santa Fe achieves 46.3mpg and releases 159 grams of CO2 per km. [Source: Hyundai UK]
