DIY: Pedal-Powered Hyundai Azera Sedan Video
How to make your own Hyundai Azera sedan (pedal-powered)!?
It’s not all that surprising to see a Hyundai Azera parked on the street in China, but if you look a little bit closer at one of them, you might just be surprised at what you see.
While the majority of cars on the street are fuel driven gasoline, electric, or hybrid, there is one that looks like the real thing, but it runs on nothing but pedal power.
That particular vehicle is the brainchild of the folks at Hyundai China who have been taking it around the country to promote the real thing and having a little fun along the way.

The pedal-powered Hyundai Azera is actually a full scale version of the real thing, but is a good deal more lightweight than its big brother.
The frame was constructed with metal tubing which was used to house the bicycle part of the vehicle. They then used a combination of plastic, Styrofoam, and vinyl wrap to finish it off, and it’s not until you really get up close that you see that this silver dream machine is nothing more than a glorified bicycle.
Hyundai have come up with some great marketing campaigns to forward the brand, but the pedal powered Azera shows an ingenuity that is really unlike anything anyone has ever seen before.
Not only did they get to take the model around town to showcase the Azera, they also used it to have a few laughs. One of their more notable pranks was dropping the car of at a valet and watching the confused attendant try to negotiate the vehicle.
The current whereabouts of the Styrofoam Azera are unknown, so we can’t really be sure if it is still holed up in China or if it has been shipped off somewhere else to be let loose on an unsuspecting city in the US.
Just to be sure, keep your eyes peeled for a silver Hyundai Azera that someone is inviting you to take a test drive in with a little smirk on their face.
