Hyundai Hexa
Hyundai Hexa Space is a brand-new people-mover concept vehicle from Hyundai Motor Company.
The all-new Hyundai Hexa Space Concept shows off the carmaker’s latest take on its “Fluidic Sculpture” design language and at the same time revolutionizes the use of interior space.
The stylish concept vehicle offers seating for 8 people thanks to the innovative “hexagonal” seating designed to optimize interior room.
Known also as Hyundai HND-7 internally, the Hexa concept vehicle features three rows of seats with the middle and third rows folding flat to create an expansive cargo room.
Accordign to Hyundai, all seats fit together almost like puzzle pieces and enable multiple configurations for seating.
Speaking of seating combinations, the first row features three seats similarly to Honda FR-V and Fiat Multipla MPVs. The centre seat in the first two rows of Hyundai Hexa Space is positioned slightly behind the outer seats on either side, allowing passengers to sit there without feeling cramped, says Hyundai.
For easier access to the spacious cabin, Hyundai designed unique door set-up where the rear doors on both sides of the vehicle lift out and slide back to create a wide open entry. The new door arrangement enables all passengers easy access to the rear seats.

Hyundai Hexa has 1,2L turbo engine
The innovative Hyundai Hexa Space is propelled by Hyundai’s 1.2L GDI turbo engine. The highly-potent four-cylinder petrol engine is mated to Hyundai’s in-house developed six-speed automatic transmission. No additional powertrain details were released by Hyundai to date.
Hyundai Motor Company does not have any plans to put the Hexa Space MPV to the market any time soon, however, a similarly shaped mid-size MPV (possibly named Hyundai ix30) could show up in Europe soon.
