Hyundai Grandeur Updated For 2013 Model Year
The 2013 Hyundai Grandeur near-luxury sedan gets mild refresh in Korea!
A week doesn’t seem to go by these days without news of a new Hyundai model or a redesign of an existing vehicle.
Hot on the heels of the news of the slightly tweaked design of the 2014 Hyundai Equus facelift, comes word that a refreshed version of the Grandeur sedan has been introduced in South Korea.
For the 2013 Model Year, the Grandeur gets some minor design revisions on the exterior, with the most noticeable ones being a subtly redesigned front fascia with waterfall-like signature grille, new set of chrome alloy-wheels and a fresh selection of exterior colors.
Inside, the updated Grandeur boasts minor changes to the trimmings, slightly updated infotainment systems with restyled buttons on the center console and new TFT-LCD color screen in the instrument cluster.
Hyundai hasn’t upgraded the engines so the model continues to be offered with a 201-horsepower 2,4L four-cylinder Theta II GDI engine and more potent 3,0L V6 Lambda engine that generates 270 horsepower.
You might wonder when would Hyundai apply these alterations to the US-market Grandeur, which is sold as Hyundai Azera in the States.
There’s no word about that at this point. Afterall, it’s been less than a year since the redesigned Hyundai Azera went on sale in the USA.
