Hyundai Genesis Coupe tunig: Hyundai teaming up with GReddy Performance Parts to modify Genesis Coupe.
Hyundai has announced it will display a customized Genesis Coupe at the forthcoming SEMA auto show. The company has announced it is teaming up with GReddy Performance Parts to modify a 2.0L four-cylinder engine powered Gen Coupe.
GReddy-tuned Genesis Coupe is announced to feature styling modifications, as well as powertrain upgrades. Exterior styling tweaks will include carbon fiber hood, new Toyo performance tires with Volk Racing G2 alloy-wheels and new, more aggressive spoiler at rear.
Completing Genesis’ aggressive exterior appearance will be unique vehicle graphics designed in collaboration with car designers working at Hyundais design headquarters in California. Inside the cabin, Genesis Coupe will benefit from modified gauges and Sparco racing seats. The Coupe will also boast a turbo timer, boost controller and remote switching system.
Greddys Hyundai Genesis Coupe will also receive a number of mechanical tweaks, including a Performance Products Turbo Upgrade Kit, large front-mounted intercooler kit and a SE Spectrum Elite cat-back exhaust system. Mechanical modifications will also include GReddy six-piston front and four-piston rear brake calipers, Type-S fully adjustable coil-over suspension and MX racing downpipe.
In addition to improved looks, braking and handling, GReddys Genesis Coupe will also benefit from power increase. The 2.0L our-cylinder engine will be upgraded to generate impressive 350 horsepower and 320 ft/lbs of torque, while its 0-60 time will be shortened to under six seconds! The Japanese tuner is also said to be working on a beefed-up Genesis Coupe with a breath-taking 500hp!
And the best of all, all of the aforementioned high-performance parts and engine modifications applied to GReddy X-Gen Street Hyundai Genesis Coupe will make it to ptoduction and will be available as production kit for Genesis Coupe owners and enthusiasts.
The GReddy-tuned Hyundai Genesis Coupe will be put on display at the Hyundai stand at the 2009 Las Vegas SEMA Show from November 3rd to November 6th.
