Hyundai Equus VS 460 To Hit The US Soil
Hyundai to bring 100 units of its all-new Equus VS 460 sedan to the US.
Hyundai has been quite successful with its first true foray into the luxury car market.
Since the company has put its all-new Genesis sedan on sale in the US market more than 6.500 units have been sold.
But, it seems like that is not enough for the aggressive Korean car company and Hyundai now aims to acquire even a bigger slice of the luxury sedan market by launching an even more luxurious model.
So, is the average US buyer ready to spend $75.000 on a high-end luxury Hyundai sedan?
I guess this is a question for a million dollars and no one really knows the answer.
What Hyundai plans to do in order to find out is this: they plan to import 100 units of the all-new Equus VS460flagship sedan to the United States and put them on display at their dealerships.
The company will then gauge what American consumers think about the model.
If the general public reaction is positive, Hyundai will likely commence the Equus sales in the US market.
When this happens, Equus could go on sale under the luxury Genesis brand, which Hyundai has been studying to establish for some time now.
Hyundai already sells two luxury models in under the Genesis name, a midsize sedan and a sporty coupe and the new-luxury brand would likely spawn some other new high-end models.
That Hyundai has been serious about bringing its luxury Equus sedan to the States are proving these latest shots showcasing a beautiful black Equus sedan, badged as Equus VS 460.
The model has just recently been spotted by one of the automotive fans from USA while parked aside the street. [Source: Flickr]
