The all-new Hyundai Eon release date is set for October next month. The official launching ceremony is expected to be held between the 10th and 15th of October, bang in the middle of the Indian festive season, a time when car sales typically see quite a boosts!

Although not confirmed officially, we have been told that intial production has already commenced. Around 10.000 units of Eon are projected to be sold in India each month, once the car enters serial mass production.

Designed to appeal younger buyers intending to buy their first car ever, the Eon will be priced affordably. With 3495 mm in length, the all-new Hyundai Eon is a bit shorter than its main competitor, the Suzuki Alto, but it has a larger wheelbase (2380 mm) and is also wider and taller than the Alto. The boot space is 215 liters – pretty big for a car of such size.
