Hardin Hyundai Of Anaheim to Build New Dealership in Orange County, California
Hyundai is about to get a little bigger in Orange County, California thanks to a recent land purchase in the Huntington Beach area.
Hardin Hyundai of Anaheim has purchased the huge plot of land, with an eye on expanding their already booming business.
The dealership paid a staggering $5 million dollars for the 1.64 acres of land on Beach Boulevard, in the vicinity of Warner Avenue.
The large plot of land is zones for a number of uses, which includes multifamily development, and of course car dealerships.
That may help explain why the land was in such high demand, with listing agent Blake Rogers revealing that he has received no less than 13 different offers on the property.
Such was the demand, the land actually ended up selling for a good deal more than the original $4.7 million price that it was listed for.
Rogers, director of Charles Dunn Co, said that it was crazy the amount of interest there is in land in that part of the state.
It was Rogers, along with Charles Dunn and Senior Managing Director Albert Shilton who represented both parties involved in the sale of the land.
It’s not really surprising the amount of interest that Hardin Hyundai of Anaheim had in the area, as Hyundai vehicles are very big sellers in Orange County, California.
Hyundai sold no fewer than 10,000 vehicles in the county during the course of 2012, a number that was good enough to put them 4th in the industry. Those numbers were recently revealed by the Orange County Automobile Dealers Association.
