Hyundai Debuts Enduro SUV (HND-12) Concept In Seoul
Adventure and freedom have been combined by Hyundai with the release of the Enduro concept at the 2015 Seoul Motor Show.
The compact crossover was designed with the adventurous spirit in mind, although this is a vehicle that looks as though it will be just as home on the city streets as it would be out in the country roads.
The Enduro SUV is about the furthest thing from ordinary that you can get.
The signature Hyundai grille can be seen up front, but the hexagonal style has been redesigned to give the car a greater sense of stability.
The grille and the front fender are connected by an incredibly cool looking aero blade.
The profile view of the Enduro would lead you to believe that it is a crossover, although the raised ground clearance and dark fender cladding give it an SUV splash of style.
Air-blades have been fitted along the C-pillar to improve aerodynamics, while side skirts help reduce drag.
There are step bars situated on the skirts, making it easier to load and unload the roof rack.
The fantastic styling of the exterior is carried into the cabin.
The Hyundai Advanced Design team have gone all out to create a space that is both sensuous and dynamic. The overall look is one that is equal parts rugged and sophisticated.
Horizontal and vertical elements work together to deliver a dashboard and center console that really grabs your attention. The whole cabin space seems to envelope the driver’s seat, creating a dynamic space that is fun to drive in.
The instrument cluster has been smartly designed to deliver an integrated display that allows the driver to see all he needs to with the minimum of distraction.
Designers have also done a good job of emphasizing the sportiness of the cabin by using elements that will remind you of sports equipment.
For example, bike spokes and handles are featured in the steering wheel design, while the door handles have the look of an off-road bike.
The trunk is intelligently designed, with drawer-style compartments added that can hold all sorts of sports equipment.
