Hyundai AG Sedan To Make A Surprise Debut At Busan Auto Show!
Hyundai “AG” luxury sedan to make its official Korean premiere next month!
According to our friends from Korea, Hyundai plans a surprising reveal of its all-new luxury sedan, codenamed AG!
The official launching event of their new luxury car will take place at the upcoming 2014 Busan Auto Show.
Details and information about the upcoming car are still relatively scarce at this point, but we have learned that the AG (internal development name) model is bigger than the Grandeur premium sedan (known as Azera in the USA) and slightly smaller than the just-recently launched Genesis luxury car.
Latest rumors suggest that the AG will be equipped with the 3,3L GDI engine and will host a wide number of high-tech and luxury features inside.
A large part of the safety technology and high-tech features will be shared with the larger Genesis sedan.
The car may debut as a “near production concept, with some attractive styling features that may not appear on the “serial mass” produced model later in the year.
Hyundai is expected to gauge consumers’ response at the auto show before adding the model to their Korean-market range.
Korean sales of the AG sedan are expected to commence in the second half of 2014!
UPDATE: First Spy Photos Of Hyundai AG
Here are some spy images of the new Hyundai AG.
The model does look similar to the Genesis, however, several body parts (look at the side profile) appear to have a different shape.
So this is indeed a different model than Genesis!
