2016 Hyundai Equus Redesign Spy Shots, Release Date, News
Next-generation Hyundai Equus flagship sedan spied ahead of 2016 launch!
If you thought the third generation Equus sedan was still far away, you were wrong.
And the first spy photos prove that!
What we have here is the very-first spy photo of a brand-new Hyundai flagship sedan, which reveals a heavily disguised Equus sedan.
The official release date of the 2016 Hyundai Equus has yet to be revealed, but according to sources close to the automaker, the fully-revamped model should go on sale in late 2015 or early 2016.
Developed under the “HI” project name, the next-generation Equus flagship sedan will boast Hyundai’s 2.0 Fluidic Sculpture design DNA.
Styled under the guidance of Hyundai-Kia Chief designer Peter Schreyer, the model will offer a chrome-rich front fascia with large signature grille and full LED headlamps up-front (as evident from the spy photo here)!
Drivetrain details are yet to be confirmed, but we already know that the upcoming Equus luxury car will offer the HTRAC all-wheel-drive system for the first time.
Under the hood, the vehicle will offer a range of V6 and V8 engines, while a hybrid powertrain is also a likely candidate to appear shortly after the car’s inaugural public debut.
The 2016 Equus will first go on sale in South Korea, while several months later, it will also reach U.S. soil.
The US-market release date has yet to be revealed, but you can expect a brand-new model to go on sale in 2016. (Photos: Sumao)
