2010 Hyundai Azera/Grandeur receives a facelift
Korean-market Hyundai Grandeur/Azera receives a mid-cycle facelift for the 2010 model year.
We are bringing you the very first image of the updated Hyundai Grandeur / Azera together with the image of the current model. As you can see, facelifted model received an array of styling updates made up-front, including a redesigned chrome grille and slightly updated head-lamps.
The 2010 Hyundai Azera/Grandeur also received sleeker front bumper that improves air-intake and a pair of oval fog lights located at each corner. Other exterior improvements include a redesigned set of alloy-wheels and more aerodynamic side mirrors with integrated turn signals.
According to Hyundai, there have been some enhancements made to the interior as well. The 2010, Korean-market Grandeur features more a slightly updated center console and more quality interior materials. Hyundai will also offer a new high-end “Alcantara package” trim for 2010 which features alcantara seats and some other alcantara inserts.
There are no detailed information on technical enhancements at the moment, but the 2010 Grandeur/Azera is expected to benefit from slightly upgraded powertrain technology, which helps the sedan to achieve better fuel efficiency ratings.
The updated Hyundai Grandeur/Azera also received some safety feature upgrades including electronic stability control, which is now standard, and rear parking assist with small rear camera mounted on the rear end of the car.
The 2010 Hyundai Grandeur is scheduled to go make its official Korean debut on December 16th with sales commencing within a few days after its introduction. Unfortunately, there are no info regarding the introduction of the facelifted Azera in the US. The model is not selling well there and most likely Hyundai will discontinue to offer the model in the States until it gets fully redesigned in 2011.
