  2. Sammy says:

Wow! I hope the specs are real. May not need to wait for the Model 3 after all.

  3. HUGH McBride says:

Another silent assassin of the oil oil industry. I can hardly wait. Great range , great styling , all the car I will ever need. How can you place an order for one ?

  4. S.F. Tam says:

My fam and I fell in love with the style, versatility and power this vehicle cranks out. I hope this vehicle comes out soon, we need a major upgrade for our old SUV.

  5. George says:

Does anyone know whether the Kona EV will allow tow bars or bike hitch? The Ioniq does not allow it (in most countries).

  6. Brian says:

Sammy, this car is identical to the Bolt using the same LG powertrain.

    • Erik says:

This is false. While LG is a tier one to GM for many components, GM fully owns the design and can move production to another vendor if required. I’ve sat in a gasoline powered Kona and while the exterior dimensions are similar to the Bolt EV the interior space is very different. The Bolt EV platform is not burdened by the need to accommodate a combustion based powertrain unlike the Kona.

How much price of electrical car, I want perches four wheel vehicle

  8. Jason says:

About time, for the UK market we need a BEV (EV) to do 250 Miles not because you drive that in one go, but if on long journeys you stop at about 100 Miles for a comfort break etc, so technically you’ve only used about 50% of your range

Hi, your blog title says “2018 Hyundai Kona EV Release Dates: US, Canada, Europe, Korea” but you did not mention Canada in the post anywhere. Is it expected to be June as well similar to the US ? Thanks for your reply

  10. Hugh McBride says:

When will this be available for pre-order in Ireland or the UK ?
