Hyundai i10, powered by 1.2L Kappa gasoline engine rated as most fuel efficient petrol car in the compact segment in India.

The most popular vehicle in the Hyundai range (referring to Indian market) has achieved two new milestones. The i10 hatchback has emerged as the top-selling vehicle in the small car segment and has just recently been rated as the country’s most fuel efficient petrol car in the compact car segment.

The BS IV compliant car powered by a 1,2L Kappa engine under test conditions has achieved a spectacular mileage of 19.81 km to a litre of petrol. This is the best in segment ARAI-certified fuel efficiency among petrol cars in India.

The fuel efficiency and comfort of the popular i10 hatchback also makes it the top selling car in the segment. During the last 12 months Hyundai sold a whopping 149.242 units of i10 model in the domestic market thus breaking all previous records.
