Hyundai i30 hatchback and i30 Cross Wagon receive mid-cycle facelift.

Hyundai i30 hatchback and its i30 Cross Wagon sibling have received a mid-cycle styling update for the 2011 model year. First previewed at the Geneva Auto Show earlier this year, the revised 2011 Hyundai i30 received slightly redesigned front fascia with updated signature grille and hexagonal bumper air-intake.

Styling updates up-front also include slightly redesigned headlights and fog-lights, while spoiler and chrome inserts complete the dynamic aspect of the car. Although Hyundai designers applied no major design changes to the model, it appears that the 2011 i30 now looks more in-line with the new “fluidic sculpture” style adopted by the rest of the Hyundai range.

The redesigned 2011 Hyundai i30 also sports some new interior design features with some added items that include an Eco Drive Indicator, for models equipped with manual gearbox and Follow-me-home headlight function. Standard across the i30 range are six-airbags, four-disc brakes with ABS system, active front head restraints, air-conditioning and Electronic Stability Programme -ESP.

Completing all the improvements, the new Hyundai i30 comes with unique warranty package, called Triple5 which includes 5 year unlimited mileage warranty, 5 year roadside assistance services and 5 years of annual vehicle healthchecks.

The 2011 Hyundai i30 is already available to order at your local Hyundai dealerships.

As reported above, styling tweaks affect both i30 models, the hatchback and wagon, which means that it is very likely Hyundai will also update the US-market i30 wagon, which is sold as a Elantra Touring in the USA.
