Beijing Hyundai has also announced it will build another more production plant to churn up its total production in China to as much as one million vehicles per anum. Withing a few months, the automaker will also introduce two new vehicles: the all-new Hyundai ix35 / Tucson crossover and completely redesigned sub-compact sedan called Hyundai RC.

The RC will be a follow-up model to the current model, which has been on sale since 2005. The all-new Hyundai Accent RC will make its official premiere at the upcoming Beijing Motor Show this month and will go on sale in China in July.

With sales of 570.000 vehicles, Beijing Hyundai ranked as the fourth largest carmaker in Chinalast year, following only Shanghai VW, Shanghai GM and FAW-VW. This year, Hyundai-Kia Automotive Group expects its sales in the world’s largest car market to exceed one million mark for the first time ever.
