Three-door Hyundai i20 to debut at Geneva Auto Show
According to the latest rumors from the automotive sphere, three-door Hyundai i20 will be making its official world debut at the upcoming Geneva Auto Show, which opens its doors on March 3rd. and ahead of its world debut, fellows from Autopareri.com can expose the fresh family hatchbacks exterior look for the first time
.We were expecting the three-door Hyundai i20 to bring a little sharper styling, but judging from these early shots, the latest Hyundai supermini will not receive many tweaks compared to its sibling model. Front fascia will retained exactly the same design as we have seen on five-door model, while at rear, only subtle changes have been made to the bumper.
A little more dramatic is the look from the side, which reveals us two strong side character lines and a bit sportier C-pillar design.
Engine line-up on the three-door Hyundai i20 will consist of the same powerplants as already seen on the five-door hatchback, meaning three different petrol engines and three diesel engine options will be available. Engines will be ranging from 1.2 to 1.6L in displacement and developing between 78 and 128 horsepower.
The all-new three door Hyundai i20 will shortly start rolling off the same production line as its five-door variant. Both i20 models will be built at Hyundais ultra modern manufacturing plant in India, with an estimated annual production of 300,000 vehicles.
European sales of the new 5-door Hyundai i20 has already commenced, while its sportier three-door variant is due to appear in Hyundais showrooms by the end of April. [Source: Autopareri.com]

Its official. The i20 3 and 5 doors have to be the Accent replacement for the U.S. Market for year 2011. Just look at it!!! This car, especially the 3 door looks like a sensible evolutionary, yet somewhat revolutionary design of the Accent. U.S. Sales will probably start in late October of 2010. I can see in 10-12 months an i20 rebadged as a Next-Gen Accent showing up at some North American car show. Probably Detroit, LA, or Miami.
