After you have seen some interesting spy shots and renderings of the 2010 Hyundai Equus sedan, here at Hyundai Blog, we are now bringing you another one! This time, we got our hands on a very exclusive (rendering) image previewing the interior of the upcoming Hyundai luxury sedan.

The interior we see here features a very Lexus-like design and already at the first glance, it looks at least one grade higher than the one in a smaller Genesis sedan. The overall interior layout screams pure luxury and seems very well executed and pleasing to our eyes!

Atop the dash, there is this huge integrated multi-media screen with two elongated chrome trimmed air-vents sitting aside of it. Placed right underneath the navi-screen is an “old-school” analog clock. The center console also features Hyundais version of the “i-Drive” system, positioned right behind the shift lever.

Codenamed VI, the next generation Equus sedan will be launched in South Korea on the 3rd of March. At first, it will be available as a regular wheelbase model, but six months later, Hyundai also plans to introduce an Equus limousine with an extended wheelbase and a top-ranging 5.0L V8 engine. It will also feature a 8-speed automatic transmission!

Initially, there were no plans to bring the new Equus sedan to the States, but latest reports suggest the opposite. In a recent interview with one of the leading American automobile magazines, Mr.H.S. Lee, Hyundais Vice Chairman, told: “Two years down the road, we are going to introduce this car (the 2010 Hyundai Equus) to America!”
