Equus spy shots reveal an elegant, rather than sporty design
Less than a week ago, Hyundai has surprised the automotive world with the release of official 2010 Hyundai Equus renderings. A pair of designer sketches has previewed the all-new Equus limousine, Hyundais new flagship model, which is scheduled to make its official Korean debut at the end of the next month.
The vehicle pictured there has been featuring a very muscular and aggressive exterior look, while sporting some non-limousine details, such as huge front bumper air intakes, curvy side character line and large alloy wheels, that are all very un-usual for a production Hyundai vehicle.
Although we wished that Eqqus would retain as attractive exterior shape as the one previewed at the teasers, it was expected production model will be far less exciting to our eyes. To confirm our expectations, you can take a look the latest series of 2010 Hyundai Equus spy pics posted below.
Although the prototype is heavily camouflaged, those spy shots are revealing that production ready Equus sedan features a lot less aggressive exterior design. As a mater of fact, its sheet metal design seems to be more elegant, rather than sporty…quite an opposite from Hyundai teaser images.
More details on its design are yet to be seen, when the vehicle loses its heavy coverings. And with its official debut just around the corner, Im pretty sure it will not take long until we see more “naked” Equus sedan pictures.
Announcement: As you know, the 2009 North American International Auto Show will be opening its doors within just a few days, and Hyundai Blog will report the most important news on new Hyundai cars from the show. So stay tuned!
