Hyundai iMax and i30 hatch have been recognized as best-in-segment vehicles in Australia.

Hyundai Australia has announced that two vehicles from its attractive vehicle line-up were named Australia’s best cars. Hyundai i-Max (known also as H-1 in Europe) has been titled the “Best People Mover” in the continent “Down Under”, while Hyundai i30 hatchback, which is produced in Europe, has been pronounced as Australia’s “Best Mid–size Car that costs under $28.000″.

The winners in each category were selected by Australia’s seven State and Territory based motoring clubs, whose criteria based on three main categories: value for money, design and function, and on the road performance.

“The Hyundai i30, whether its the petrol or diesel version has scored at the top of its class. Whether you are going to a sporting match or a school function, the 8 seat Hyundai iMax offers the consumer plenty of space, flexible child seat arrangements and also accommodates luggage,” commented the Chief Judge, Ernest Litera.

“The Hyundai iMax does all these things very well. Both cars scored at the top of each of their respective categories and that means that they are consistently better than the class average across at least 19 areas that we scored the cars in” also added Ernest.

Both above-mentioned Hyundai cars are selling well in Australia. Particularly the i30 hatch, which has acquired hearts of many consumers in the country. The model continues to sell above expectationsso Hyundai plans to increase the number of imported i30 models to satisfy the customer demand.
