Street Concepts Hyundai Genesis Coupe to hit the 2008 SEMA
Hyundai Motor America announced that this years Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) auto show will premiere the Street Concepts Genesis Coupe.
The all-new RWD Genesis Coupe will feature an aggressive and powerful design, which will make it the perfect vehicle for the SEMA show. According to Mr. Shawn Williams, the owner of Street Concepts, his company plans to maximize Genesis’s driving capabilities, while striving to assure the level of practicality so that average consumers can take ideas from their concept vehicle and adapt them to their own.
The Street Concepts Genesis Coupe will showcase Volk 19-inch racing wheels, performance tires, a modified suspension and Brembo brakes. A Magnaflow cat-back exhaust and cold air intake system will enhance the performance of the 3.8-liter V6 engine.
The car will be outfitted with a black camouflage, stealth fighter-inspired paint design that compliments its sports’ styling. Genesis’s exterior will also feature a custom grille design, tinted taillights and an APR rear wing, while its interior modifications include some fancy carbon fiber dashboard accents, Cobra seats, Infinity audio system and black suede accents designed to fit the stealth jet fighter theme.
The Street Concepts Genesis creation will join Genesis Coupe models designed by HKS tuning company and the “Art of speed” Genesis Coupe tuned by Rhys Millen as the third Hyundai vehicle scheduled to appear at SEMA show.
SEMA Show starts on November 4, and will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Genesis Coupe will go on sale in United States in spring 2009. [Source: Hyundai]
