Hyundai goes to SEMA show with HKS-tuned Genesis Coupe…
Before Hyundai unveiled its most exciting vehicle ever, a rear-wheel-drive Genesis Coupe, we have heard many statements from high ranking Hyundai officials, that this will be the first tuner-friendly Hyundai vehicle. The proof that Hyundai really meant that, will be the 2008 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show that kicks off in November.
Today, Hyundai Motor America announced that HKS USA Inc., one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of premium automotive aftermarket performance systems, parts and accessories, plans to create a high-performance, turbo equipped, Genesis Coupe. HKS will be the second company to join Hyundai for this year’s SEMA after the Rhys Millen Racing (RMR) announced to bring the “Art of Speed” Genesis Coupe to the show.
The HKS tuning plan includes a HKS GT Turbo upgrade to maximize horsepower and torque, HKS engine internals, HKS limited-edition turbo exhaust system, HKS Super Mega Flow Intake System, HKS Engine Management and HKS Hipermax III fully-adjustable suspension.
This exciting, rear-wheel drive, HKS Hyundai model will make its SEMA debut at the Las Vegas Convention Center on 4th of November, 2008.
