Unofficial rendering of Hyundai i20

Most of the spy shots we have seen so far reveal very little about what the actual production car may look like. Beyond its overall size and general proportions Hyundai has not let us see many exterior design details of its upcoming new compact product called i20.
The rendering above is based on spy shots we have seen about a year ago and borrows style from its little i10 and bigger i30 brothers to forecast what the upcoming production car could look like.
i20 Will make its world premiere at Paris Motor Show in October and will go on sale on December 8.

Look like a shrunken version of Peugeot 307 to me..nice though!

Too early to say, but it looks more Opel Corsa like than Peugeot. But do agree that it looks nice. It will debut in Paris Auto Show, meaning we have less than two months until we see its final shape.

The i20 has been spoken of since early 2008 but there seems to be no clue to the media or public of it’s launch in India. Rumour says that there might be 8-10 hatchback cars being launched in India in 2009. Hyundai better deliver a good one if they want to catch up with the popular Maruti Suzuki Swift!
