Spy Shots Of The New Hyundai i30 3-Door Hatchback
Hyundai i30 3-door hatchback spotted for the first time in Korea!
The second-generation i30 is already out and for sale in the European market.
But so far, Hyundai has only launched the i30 5-door hatchback and i30 wagon, while the sportier 3-door model is still being kept under wraps.
The guys over at Korean Hyundai fan club have recently caught a prototype of the 3-door i30 during its final pre-production testing session.
Looking closely at the spy shots, it appears that Hyundai has given the i30 3-door a distinct identity, which resulted in more aggressive exterior styling.
It is evident from these latest spy shots that the up-coming three-door hatchback features a lower front-end with more aggressively styled front-fascia. The side profile apears to have a very prominent rising side character line, while the rear-end draws the inspiration from the 5-door model.
Upcoming i30: engine line-up
Hyundai is keeping quiet on the forth-coming car’s engine details, but we are expecting a wide range of four-cylinder gasoline and diesel engines to be available.
The all-new Hyundai i30 3-door will reportedly also get a brand-new turbocharged 1,6L T-GDI engine, which will churn out around 185 horsepower! The engine will be mated to Hyundai’s own developed 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission -DCT! [Image source: i30club ]
