2017 Hyundai i30 N Let Loose on The Nurburgring
Hyundai are planning on going sporty with their new N sub-brand, and the 2017 i30N will be landing in Europe sometime next year.
The hot hatch has been spied under heavy camouflage several times now, and it’s expected that the sporty model will be officially unveiled at the 2016 Paris Motor Show in October.
While this model is based on the 2017 Hyundai i30N hot hatchback, there are some noticeable differences between the two vehicles.
There is a more aggressive front fascia visible on the N model, and it also comes with horizontal LED turn signals, as opposed to the vertical lights found on the standard i30 model.
The spy image of the i30 seen here shows of some oversized alloy wheels which feature large red brake calipers.
The duct tape in the image is being used to hide the Brembo branding. Around back, there is a roof-edge spoiler hiding under that camo.
The back also features LED-accented lights, and a pair of exhaust outlets on either end of the bumper.
There are also a pair of mysterious holes seen on the outer edges of the bumper, directly behind the wheels. The belief is that they will be used to release air pressure in the wheel arches, which is really quite clever.
The exhaust system has been designed to make this vehicle sound like a rally car.
