Hyundai i20 Facelift Brings Minor Styling Tweaks
Hyundai i20 receives a mid-cycle facelift for the 2012 model year – set to make its official debut at the forthcoming Geneva Auto Show!
The refreshed i20 hosts a plethora of styling updates and several powertrain upgrades.
Most of the styling changes take place up front with the new i20 gaining the latest Hyundai family face, which means new hexagonal signature grille, revised head-lamps and more stylish bumper with integrated fog-lamps. Other styling changes include revised tail-lamps, rear bumper with integrated reflectors and new alloy-wheels.
In addition, the all-new Hyundai i20 facelift also received a brand-new 1,1L 3-cylinder diesel engine, which is also available in the Euro-market Kia Rio hatchback. The fuel-sipping 1.1L diesel unit generates impressive 74 horsepower and emits just 84 grams of CO2 per kilometer.
Full details on the new Hyundai i20 facelift along with more official images will be released once the car has been unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show on 6 March.
