2017 Hyundai i10 Facelift Changes, Release Date, Colors And Specs
The 2017 Hyundai i10 facelift receives subtle styling tweaks and new safety tech to keep up with its main rivals.
The most noticeable among all changes is the new Hyundai signature grille.
The automaker calls it the “Cascading grille” and it is set to become the new family identity for all future Hyundai vehicles.
Up-front, the new Hyundai i10 also incorporates a slightly revised bumper with a pair of round LED daytime running lights, positioned at the edges of the new grille.
Back at rear, the model incorporates an enhanced bumper with a set of refined taillights, as well as round rear fog lamps mirroring the new front LEDs.
Completing the new look of the 2017 Hyundai i10 facelift are newly styled 14-inch alloy wheels.
Moving inside, the model gains red color option for the upholstery. The customers can now choose from ornage, blue, beige and black interior colors on all trim levels.
The dashbord design hasn’t changed much, however, the updated i10 does incorporate a larger touch screen navigation system (7-inch). The unit supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The navigation system comes with a 7-year subscription to LIVE services, which adds real-time traffic conditions and local weather updates.
Safety wise, the new i10 facelift comes available with two advanced features to avoid accidents, a front collision warning system – FCWS and a lane departure warning system – LDWS.
Hyundai i10 2017 specs
There are no major upgrades under the hood of the Hyundai city car. Like the pre-facelifted model, the upcoming i10 offers a choice of two gasoline engines, the 1,0L and 1,25L units.
It is also offered with a 1,0L liquid-petroleum gas – LPG engine (a factory-fitted option).
Consumers can also opt-in for the i10 Blue Drive model, which is based on the 1,0L gasoline variant, but features a wide number of fuel saving features and enhancements.
When it comes to mechanics, Hyundai states that they have improved the i10’s ride and handling by adding a larger front bump stopper and modified steering wheel.
