First images of the camo-free Hyundai Santa Fe 2013 (Model Year) hit the web!
What you see here in this post are the clearest and spy shots of the soon-to-be-unveiled Hyundai crossover, the 2013 Santa Fe CUV.
Scheduled to make its official public debut at the up-coming New York Auto Show in April, the all-new Santa Fe CUV will boast a dynamic exterior layout with styling influences from the most recent crop of Hyundai cars (new Hyundai i40 and i30 hatchback).
Up front, the 2013 Santa Fe will sport a “Hyundai family look” with most notable features being the hexagonal grille with layered chrome bars and LED headlamps. The forth-coming crossover vehicle will also feature a strong side character line and attractively designed rear-end with LED tail-lamps and round twin tailpipes having a chrome finish.
Engine options still remain under wraps for now, but there will be a wide range of highly-advanced turbocharged gasoline and diesel engines available from launch. You can expect Hyundai to offer at least one turbo-charged four-cylinder and V6 engine with gasoline direct injection -GDI technology, as well as a four-cylinder diesel unit for the European market.
Not much else is known about the new Hyundai CUV…

That is actually pretty cool. The rear hatch is a little small… but what’s up with the menacing “jack-o-lantern face” grilles lately? Is Hyundai trying to prove a point here? The Elantra is the most apparent of this.
very audi-esque at the rear i must say. a nice design but i foresee hyundai getting a lot of flak for this by the internet warriors. waiting on official (full) shots and a viewing in person before my final judgement.. first impressions are great though.
Wow, this looks so nice. It’s been a while since the Santa Fe has had a good redesign!! And this looks a little like the Tucson, which is so popular.
The grille looks overdone, hope it gets tamed at time of launch
The Fluidic design is been extended too much
The “New” Sante Fe looks like a warmed over Subaru Tribeca they should have saved the production costs and just did a badge swap with Subaru
