The Genesis G90 luxury sedan has officially been unveiled, and will now serve as the top of the line for Hyundai’s new Genesis sub-brand.
The G90, which is also known as the EQ900 in Korea, will be able to compete with the best cars that the luxury market has to offer, thanks in large part to dynamic performance and unparalleled refinement.

Genesis Smart Sense features technologies that include Advanced Smart Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assistance, and Highway Driving Assistance (Korea Only).
This luxury model is all about the driver, and the systems put in place are designed to help keep anyone behind the wheel alert and safe. The technologies featured in the G90 are about as close to autonomous as it gets, and they represent innovation that can best be defined as class leading.
Comfort is also delivered at premium levels on the interior of the G90, and includes a Smart Posture Caring System that adjusts the seating, steering wheel, heads-up display and outside mirror positions to a place that is perfectly suited to the driver’s body. This is available in the Korean market only, for now.
More than 800 team members worked on the G90 over a 4-year period to help create the G90, with much of their attention focused on NVH levels. No detail was deemed too small, as Genesis wanted to ensure that the interior maintained a high level of human focus.
The materials used in the cabin have been sourced from the world’s finest artisans, and advanced ergonomics analysis deliver the perfect positioning of the majority of the interior functions.
An H-TRAC all-wheel drive system has been added to deliver comfort and handling, much of which is aided by the Genesis Adaptive Control System, which makes its debut in the G90.
Drivers will love the reined performance delivered by the G90. This is essentially what the character of the Genesis is all about, and it was achieved through an intense testing phase at the famed Nurburgring test track, and also at the Mojave test center in the US.
The brand-new Genesis G90 flagship sedan is available in 3 different, but equally impressive powertrains: V6 3.3-liter T-GDI, V6 3.8-liter GDI or V8 5.0-liter GDI.
This is the first of 6 total Genesis models that will be unveiled in the next 5 years.
The G90 will launch in Korea, and will soon arrive in the US, Russia, China, and the Middle East.
Demand for the vehicle is high, with 4,000 pre-orders taken on the first day. That number now sits at an impressive 10,700 pre-orders, and rising.
