3 Cool High-Tech Features Of The New Genesis Luxury Sedan
If you visit the Hyundai media website, you will run across a blog named ‘Hyundai Like Sunday,’ complete with the ‘Truth, Candor & Conversation’ tagline.
The latest entry talks about three great features found in the upcoming 2015 Hyundai Genesis.
This is the type of thing that falls into the overblown hype category, but Rob Lescaille,
Product Public Relations & Social Media Manager, makes some very interesting points about the car that may have been overlooked during the hoopla that was the Detroit Auto Show.
Genesis Feature No. 1 – Smart Trunk
The first feature to catch his attention is the Smart Trunk. Unlike some other automatic trunks on the market, the Smart Trunk does not require the driver to hop on one leg or perform a dance.
Instead, all that is required is to stand by the trunk for a few seconds, after which a flashing and warning will go off to signal that the trunk is opening.
Genesis Feature No. 2 – Destination Search Powered by Google
Another feature that Lescaille loves is the Google powered search.
Using the Blue Link button, drivers can use voice recognition to have valuable information sent to them without having to take their hands off the steering wheel.
He has tried out the system and says that it really is as powerful as Hyundai are saying it is.
Feature No. 3 – Genesis Intelligent Assistant App
The final feature worth looking out for is the Genesis Intelligent Assistant App.
This great little application compiles data from Blue Link, the owner’s smartphone, and the internet to deliver important notifications and recommendation ahead of the drive.
Not only will this app set your car at the optimum temperature in the cabin, ti will also deliver a suggested departure time that might just be enough to get the slackers in the family moving.
Stay tuned for more details about the highly-anticipated 2015 Genesis sedan!
