Hyundai Launches Avante TUIX Special Edition Model
Hyundai has introduced a new special edition Avante compact sedan in Korea.
Called Avante TUIX, the new special edition model incorporates sportier exterior design and employs several car styling accessories.
The “TUIX” model features a sporty kit consisting of the front, rear and side skirts, all designed to disperse air flowing under the car so as to improve traction.
In addition, the special edition Avante model also features new fuel cap, 17-inch tires with two-tone painted alloys, as well as sporty looking, red-colored brake calipers.
Korean consumers can buy the TUIX tuning kit when ordering their new car or bring in their Avante models to local Hyundai dealers for the upgrade.
The automaker says their new sporty kit is available in Korea at this point, however, it is not limited to the automaker’s domestic market.
Those overseas owners of the Elantra sedan (the same car as Avante sedan!) looking to upgrade their rides can also ask their local dealerships to import the kit from Korea and install it to their cars.
According to Hyundai, the styling kit for the Avante (Elantra) costs approximately 750,000 won or (US$696), while wheels can cost up to an extra 1.1 million won.
Hyundai Also Launches New Avante Coupe
Along with new Avante TUIX model, Hyundai also released the Avante 2-door coupe, which is the same car as the Elantra coupe sold in the United States.
The updated 2014 Avante Coupe incorporated some modest styling updates for the new model year.
The 2-door coupe sports new head lights and rear-combination lamps, higher-grade interior materials, new OLED displays and FLEX steering wheel which allows the driver to choose from three driving modes.
Both Elantra models use the same powertrain technology as previously.
