Hyundai Avante Coupe unveiled in Korea
The 2012 Busan International Motor Show hosts the South Korean premiere of the all-new Hyundai Avante Coupe!
Hyundai Motor Company unveiled a brand-new Avante Coupe to the South Korean consumers at the 6th Busan International Motor Show.
The Avante Coupe is a two-door version of the popular Hyundai Avante 4-door sedan, which has been the best-selling vehicle in South Korea during the first couple of months of 2012.
Internationally, the Avante Coupe is also known as the 2013 Hyundai Elantra Coupe which made its official U.S. premiere at the 2012 Chicago Auto Show.
The compact two-door coupe, which offers even more sophisticated styling than its 4-door sibling, received nothing but rave reviews from the U.S. automotive media and visitors of the Hyundai booth in Chicago.
The all-new Elantra Coupe is scheduled to hit the U.S. showrooms in summer this year, while the Korean-market Avante Coupe will go on sale in the second half of 2012.
Avante Coupe gets 2,0L Nu GDI engine
Unlike the U.S. Elantra Coupe which is propelled by a 1,8L Nu four-cylinder engine, the Korean-specs Avante Coupe features a 175-horsepower 2.0L Nu GDI four-cylinder engine under its hood.
The all-new Hyundai Avante Coupe has an overall length of 4,540mm (10mm longer than the Avante sedan), an overall width of 1,775mm and an overall height of 1,435mm.
